Extract Pages From Multi-page PDF
Most splitting utilities offer splitting PDF files by pages only. Not PDF Splitter. You may want extract only some particular pages and the program will do that for you.
Sample usage:
I have a 28-page PDF file and want to extract pages 1-5, 10, 15, 22.
It's quite easy with PDF Splitter. I launch the program, select the folder with my PDF file and check the file in the main panel. Then I press Split.
Then I see the wizard of the program. It helps me to do all the settings. After I set the destination folder (the folder for the extracted files) I select the pages to be extracted. I type in the numbers without blanks.
I skip the Combine step as I do not want any of my extracted pages to be combined. So I pass to File Name Template step. By default every new file will be named according to this template [Name].page#.pdf. This means that I get files FAHSC.page1.pdf and so on. But I can change that template to anything else just typing in the field. Note that PDF Splitter allows selecting the digit to start enumeration from.
Then I pass to the PDF options. PDF Splitter can make the resulting PDF is compatible with any particular version of Adobe Acrobat. Besides, I can select the level of compression.
I have set all the parameters for splitting my files and I press Start button. In few seconds the destination folder with the newly created PDF files is opened.
PDF Splitter is not limited to extracting selected pages from PDF files only. It can also help you to:
